I could tell that Grayson was growing, and I felt like he would be at least back up to his birth weight of 9 lbs., 7 oz. at his 2 week check-up. The check-up was actually a day early, and he weighed 10 lbs., 3 oz. I was not surprised- Grayson loves to eat! His weight was in the 92nd percentile, and his height of 21.25 inches (1/4 inch less than hospital measurement- go figure!) was in the 84th percentile.
Sweet Grayson at 2 weeks old
Grayson's first two weeks of life have been great! He eats every 2 1/2-3 hours around the clock, and he sleeps most of the time when he is not eating. He will not sleep in his bed for very long, and we are trying to figure out ways to make that happen very soon. Grayson must be used to his big brother's loudness because it does not phase him at all when he is asleep or awake for that matter. We love him so very much, and he is the perfect addition to our family.
My precious boys ready for bed. Logan is such a good big brother!
Logan's 3 year check-up went just as well! He was 3 feet, 5 inches tall and weighed almost 42 pounds. Such a big boy! His growth in height and weight has held steadily off the growth charts at greater than the 97th percentile since his 2 month check-up and this was no exception. Dr. S asked Logan all about his upcoming birthday party, and he was impressed with Logan's conversation ability and speech clarity. I told him that Logan talks constantly, and Logan certainly showed that skill. I was so proud of how Logan sat still and let Dr. S examine him completely and carried on a conversation without any fuss. He was such a big boy!
Logan ready to head to the Germantown fireworks on July 4th!
We knew our boys were healthy and doing well, but it is always good to get confirmation from your doctor. We are so blessed and thankful to have such sweet boys!
