Grayson- 1 month old

Our sweet baby boy turned one month old on July 12.  He is such a blessing to our family!

Over the past month, Grayson has been busy growing, sleeping, eating, and making dirty diapers!  What else is a newborn supposed to do?!  We had trouble getting him to sleep in his bed the first 3 weeks.  He would be fast asleep when we put him in his bed, but he would wake up within a few minutes with hiccups and spitting up.  After some online research and an unofficial reflux diagnosis from his Mommy, I found the Fisher Price Rock 'n Play Sleeper.  It has made all the difference, and we are actually getting some sleep!  Before that, Brian and I were pretty much taking turns holding him during the night.  Since getting the new bassinet, he has been going about 4 hours between the evening and first middle-of-the-night feeding and then resuming his 3 hour schedule.  The biggest difference is he is actually sleeping in the middle of all those night feedings.

Grayson is definitely growing!  I estimate that his weight is around 13 pounds, and he is quickly outgrowing his 3 month onesies.  He will probably be in 6 month within the next week.  He is wearing size 2 diapers, and we go through lots of them!

Grayson is such a sweet, precious baby, and he is the perfect addition to our family.  He is very loved by his parents and his big brother!
