The past month, Grayson is staying awake more during the day and sleeping more during the night. He eats almost every three hours during the day, and he sleeps for a 5 hour stretch the first part of the night before eating again. He goes to bed around 7:30 p.m., and then eats around 12:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. before waking up around 7 a.m. His schedule is getting much more predictable! He is still sleeping in the elevated sleeper/bassinet, but we hope to get him in his crib this month now that he has started reflux medicine.
Grayson started smiling this month around 6 weeks, and it is the most precious thing ever! Those chubby cheeks have one dimple each, and it is just so sweet. He also makes eye contact with us and will have a "conversation" by making cooing and squealing noises. He loves looking at his big brother, too! He frequently gives him smiles as well :)
Grayson can hold his head up very well, and he enjoys tummy time as long as he is laying on one of his parents. He pretty much only cries if he is tired or hungry, and he is a happy baby most of the time. He will sleep through anything if he is tired enough! I guess that comes with having a loud big brother.
Our Grayson is a big boy- even bigger than his brother at this age! At his 2 month check-up, we learned that Grayson weighs 17 lbs., 10 oz. and is 25 inches tall! Both of these measurements are off of the growth charts for his age just like his big brother. Grayson's height is exactly the same as Logan's at 2 months, but he weighs 2 pounds more! Dr. S said he weight is perfectly healthy based on his height, and we were happy to hear that. He moved up to 6 month clothes this month, but they are getting small already! We just switched to size 3 diapers.
